On the evening of December 31, 2022, at Beijing Capital International Airport, Song Zhiyong, Administrator of CAAC, in company with Hu Zhenjiang, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, greets with crew members who have safely completed flights on the last day of 2022 and extended his regards to the front-line staff who stuck to posts.
Song Zhiyong met with crew members of several flights of Air China and Hainan Airlines, and gave greetings to them as well as the ground handling staff. When flights safely landed at the airport, Song entered the cabin, shook hands with the crew members one by one and took a group photo, congratulated them on successful operations during 2022 and extended New Year greetings. Song also conveyed greetings to ground handling personnel who provided security screening and VIP services, and thanked them for their hard work for the safety of civil aviation over 2022. Song Zhiyong pointed out that 2022 marked an extraordinary year for the civil aviation industry. Under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, with firm action upon important instructions on the civil aviation industry made by President Xi Jinping, and in accordance with the requirements of effectively responding COVID-19, stabilizing the economy and achieving safe development, coordinating various efforts on the pandemic containment and the safe development of the industry, and actively dealing with multiple challenges, the whole industry completed the construction of civil aviation infrastructure on schedule and many major transport supporting missions, with new achievements being made in the high-quality development of civil aviation.
